Thank you for creating this timely article. Its significance runs deep, showing we are on the return to our roots. The current rejection and fall of mainstream media hopefully foretells a comparable fate for the current federal government, and finally for whatever adversaries still remain as obstacles to America’s chosen way of life.

No matter how one slices or dices America's troubles, they still portray strong centralized authority as the leading cause of our ruination. We are now turning our backs on this statism, to once again stand up for our individual rights and to do for ourselves. Refreshingly, your article confirms that the pendulum has indeed reversed and is moving us again in the right direction.

The Internet provides opportunity to learn and practice such skills as creative writing, and to propel our specialized information to receptive audiences. In some comparable fashion we can expect to improve the quality of our principles, our education, and our government. Soon we will confront the systematic destruction to our food and drugs, the vulnerability of our product supply chains, and the loss of our jobs to overseas competition, through reintroduction of homegrown goods and services to our way of life.

For too long we have languished under the guise of having to practice world standards of economics, trade and politics, when in reality the unabridged American Way would have been the better choice. America thrives on the common qualities of limited government, individual initiative, and freedom. Here’s hoping we will find the courage to slay this dragon and once again lead this world to that of peace and prosperity.

Interesting article, Trace.

Don't we need the media to report the news? Most bloggers cite newspaper articles for facts and figures. Where would the facts and figures come from without newspapers? We need someone to hire journalists to go out there and interview, get facts.

Having said that, when it comes to commentary or opinions, I always trust a blog or a comment section much more than a paid journalist who has an editor.
